Persian Gulf Odyssey Tour

Itinerary: Tehran, Bushehr, Bandar-e Charak, Kish, Bandar-e Abbas, Minab, Qeshm, Tehran

Day 1: Arrive in Tehran –

Check-in to your hotel in the morning followed by time to explore Tehran. (D)

Day 2: Bandar-e Bushehr

A morning flight to Bandar-e Bushehr is the start of our Persian Gulf odyssey. As the main seaport in the northern gulf, it has some old city charm mixed with some new world architecture. (B)

Tour of the Old City area.

Day 3: Bandar-e Charak

A long drive along the Persian Gulf coastline gives superb views of the Gulf and small picturesque towns. (B)

Day 4-5: Kish Island

Built as a free trade zone, Kish is booming with hotels, shopping centers and theme parks, and great sandy beaches. The perfect place to relax and take in some swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving. (2B)

Bicycle tour

Day 6: Bandar-e Abbas

From Kish, we return by boat to the mainland and drive southeast to the port of Abbas which is known for its lively bazaar and evening flea market. (B)

Day 7: Minab

Wedged between a line of rocky desert hills and luxuriant date palm plantations, Minab was once the biggest town in the region. (B)

Hazareh Castle

Day 8-10: Qeshm Island

The largest island in the Persian Gulf, Qeshm boasts attractive beaches bounding an arid, sun-scorched interior of beautiful hills and mountains. (B)

Ghal'e-ye Portoghaliha

Qeshm Geopark Museum

Day 11: Tehran

A short boat ride takes us back to the mainland for a final flight back to the capital Tehran. (B)
