Damavand is the highest peak in Iran and also the highest volcano peak in Asia. You can do the different levels of climbing in all seasons. It has 4 main ridges for climbing and also 3 main glaciers. The normal ridge is south and many mountaineers come to climb or ski.

South Ridge has 2 shelters, one at ~3000m as a base camp and the other one at 4150m. In winter mostly they are not full and you can use them but you should have your tent for emergency times.

Isfahan: Florence of Orient, Persia's masterpiece, the Intrigue of Iran, and the half-rhymed famous adage "Esfahan Nesf-e Jahan" (Esfahan is half the world) all describe the splendor of a city shining along its life-giving river at the heart of Iran.

Shiraz: The illustrious 1000-year-old city of Shiraz is a cultural center and home to the famous mystic poets Saadi and Hafez. Shiraz offers you exquisite mosques, sacred shrines, tombs, lush rose gardens, and, a short drive away, Takht-e Jamshid (which the Greeks called 'Persepolis') - the world-famous archaeological site founded by Darius I and Xerxes in the 5th and 6th Centuries B.C. and razed by Alexander the Great over two hundred years later.

Day by Day Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Tehran /Iran capital City (Arrival)

After welcoming you at the Tehran Imam Khomeini Airport, Our guide will transfer you to a hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free in Tehran. Bed & Breakfast.

Day 02: Raineh, Damavand Base Camp (South Face)

Drive via Haraz Road (North of Iran) and drive up to Reineh(South face of Damavand) On the way you will have pictures view of Damavand for taking good photos, overnight at the Mountaineering Federation guesthouse (or Gousfandsara in a tent) Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner.

Day 03: Damavand Base camp(south face) Goosfandsara - Bargah Refuge

We wake up early in the morning, and after having breakfast start climbing(with lunch box). If we were lucky with good weather, it would take 4 hours to reach the second shelter in 4150m Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner. (~4150m). Overnight Refuge. F/B

Day 04: Damavand Summit Day (South Face)

We wake up at 5 am have breakfast wear and take an attack backpack and go up. If the group is ok in 6 hours we will be in the summit. From the top, you can see all around the mountains. We have time so we take pictures and go down. In 3 hours we return to the shelter. We have a meal and then go to sleep after a hard day. Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner.

Day 05: Damavand Summit Day (South Face)

Reserve a day For bad weather conditions and stay in the refuge. Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner.

Day 06: Damavand Base Camp (South Face)

Today we are not in a hurry we eat breakfast pack our staff and go down. In 2 hours we reach the first shelter(Mosque) rest for a few minutes and continue our way to the main road. The driver is already there and we return to the local guest house. We have lunch and rest and then we go to Mineral Hot Springs for a hot bath (spa). You will relax after the hot spring and then we will drive to Tehran and stay overnight in the hotel. Breakfast & Lunch.

Day 07: Sightseeing Tehran

After a good breakfast in the hotel transfer with an expert foreign language speaking guide for a full day sightseeing Tehran, Traditional Bazaar, Archaeological museum, Glassware & Ceramic museum, and Niavaran palace. Overnight Hotel Bed & Breakfast.

Day 08: Shiraz

Early In the morning flight to Shiraz and directly an excursion to Persepolis and Naqsh-e-Rostam (the name given to the great cliff face that bears the four rock-cut tombs of Achaemenians dynasty B.C 500 successors and Sassanian rock-relief ). Overnight Hotel Bed & Breakfast.

Day 09: Shiraz

Today we will visit Eram a 19th-century building there and the Ghoran Gate of Shiraz, then we will drive to the Isfahan check-in hotel in the evening sightseeing 3 famous bridges on the Zayandehroud River, Overnight. Hotel Bed & Breakfast 3*.

Day10: Isfahan

The full day the group goes sightseeing Isfahan, Chelsotoun which lies in the center of a large garden and has several halls and rooms which are decorated with marble and impressive gilds (40 columns)Palace, Meidane Naghsh-e-Jahan (Imagine the world square, UNESCO's World Heritage Site), Jamee mosque & shah mosque, Bazaar. In the evening walk alongside the side of Zayandehroud riverside. Overnight Hotel. Bed & Breakfast.

Day 11: Isfahan

Full-day city tour of Isfahan to visit the Armenian Quarter and its cathedral Vank (one of the most striking churches of the world for its gilded ceiling and paintings.., tombs of famous American Iridologist professor Arthur Upham Pope and his wife on the bank of the river. Overnight Hotel Isfahan. Bed & Breakfast.

Day 12: Kashan

Today we will drive to Kashan and on route visit Abyaneh (a historic village demonstrating dessert architecture and old living style and clothing fashion.) Then visit Burojerdi House and Finn Complex including the Historic Bath House in Kashan. Overnight Kashan.

Day 13: Tehran

Drive to Tehran via Qom and visit their, Check Hotel in Tehran, in the afternoon group is free, and in the evening good for dinner in a traditional restaurant Overnight Hotel Bed/ Breakfast/ Dinner.

Day 14: Departure

The group will be transferred to the international airport for a flight back home.
